I noticed when my nose runny & congested, the bridge on my nose hurts. Why is that?

I've been hit and also bumped ny nose a few times on the bridge area. It hurts sometimes. Not serious enough to say it's broken. It hurts from time to time though. Could I have a deviated septum?
