Now you bring up a great debate of giving into the "flesh" for a few moments in exchange for moral superiority. I use "moral superiority" as an insult but instead that your morals win out over your desires. I personally believe that if you give in to every whim and do not restrain yourself you are not growing as a person but instead pleasing every whim and living an amoral life. I applaud your change and if it in turn leads to you feeling more fulfilled then more power to you. Though people today feel the need to get everything they want as shown in people purchasing houses, cars and other goods that they can not afford.
