Is having a platonic relationship with a married woman a bad idea?

So I have this friend who really meets a need that my current wife doesn’t. The problem is she is also married and I’m very attracted to her (not physically, but more emotionally). I love my wife and have been happily married for six years now, but the other person really fulfills something that is missing in my life and I’m very happy to have her meet this need. It’s not physical at all, we’re just friends. My wife doesn’t like her and has even admitted to being jealous of her, because she meets a need she can’t (and that’s not going to change). I use to tell my wife when I talked to her and/or saw her, but because she gets jealous and upset, I usually leave any mention of her out of our daily conversation (yes, I speak with my friend daily). Any advise? Comments (don’t be mean)? Suggestions?
