Government confusion????

Im a little confused about what britain wants from us!! I was watching panorama and they were showing and talking about how we lose out on billions because of the illegal tobacco industry.They are always pushing to get us smokers to quit,yes we know how harmful it can be and aware of the problems.Would it not leave the country in a worse state if we were all to give up?Seems to me that the smokers dont get a choice in rules about smoking its the non smokers that are listened to.(thats my look on it anyway).If smokers pay so much tax, dont you think we have just as much right to that hospital bed?I know i will get the nasty comments about how smoking is bad and you shouldnt do it but please i am only saying what i feel.I never smoke infront of my granddaughter or children and certainly not in my car which is also what they are trying to ban, oh and they are trying to get them not to be shown in shops etc, come on people do you really think this will make a difference?
