Need help with my essay?

i am writing a essay on tuck everlasting and in it when i write the title of the book, do i italic it or underline it? and secondly i cant think of a title for it. We are suppossed to write about the theme of the story and i think its to not be selfish. My teacher says we are not allowed to title it My Essay or Tuck Everlasting.
