Theres a good chance he wants to be your boyfriend. Guys who are friends with girls, usually have some interest in the girl in the first place. Unless you have a lot in common and/or he likes other guys, he probably wanted to be your friend so he had a chance to be with you. He could be hinting, best thing to do is decide if you're interested and go from there. Its the new millennium so don't feel like he should ask you out.. some guys like to be asked out vs asking a girl out. Hard to believe but yeah. Just don't make it seem like he's the rebound. Flirt with him a little at first, just playful stuff. If he responds in suite, turn up the flirting a little and see how he reacts.
